Activated Digital has built and run production software in Tel Aviv since 2005. We work on systems that have to stay up: platforms that carry a business’s actual operations, integrations between software that was never designed to talk to each other, and infrastructure that has to survive a traffic spike on a Sunday morning.
We are one team from architecture through to the servers it runs on. There is no account layer between you and the people writing the code, and no handover point where the thing that was designed stops resembling the thing that ships.
What we build
- Custom software platformsSystems built for how a business actually works rather than how an off-the-shelf tool assumes it does. Laravel, Next.js or whatever the job actually needs, on AWS or Google Cloud, with the database, queue and API design done deliberately rather than discovered later under load.
- System integrationConnecting core business systems: ERP, CRM, billing, logistics, WhatsApp Business API. Usually the work is not the connection itself but deciding what happens when one side is down, slow, or disagrees with the other about what is true.
- AI and LLM developmentLLM features inside real products, where the interesting problems are retrieval, cost, latency and what the system does when the model is confidently wrong. We build the parts around the model, which is where the engineering is.
- E-commerce engineeringStorefront performance, checkout reliability, catalogue and inventory sync, and the infrastructure underneath. Most e-commerce problems we are called about are infrastructure problems wearing a marketing costume.
- Web developmentSites and web applications built to be fast and accessible by construction rather than by audit. This site is the reference: WCAG 2.2 AA, sub-second first paint, three languages served from one codebase.
- UX and UI designInterface design done alongside the engineering rather than thrown over a wall to it. Design tokens, real states, and a handoff that is a working system rather than a picture of one.
How we work
Most engagements start with a short paid discovery: we look at what exists, what it costs to run, and where it will break next. That produces an architecture and an estimate you can take to someone else if you want to. We would rather tell you the work is smaller than you thought than win a project by agreeing with you.
We work in Hebrew, English, French, Russian, Arabic and Spanish, with clients in Israel, the USA and Europe. The work runs from a campaign that has to be live this week to a platform measured in years, and a good part of it comes through advertising agencies.
